Assistant Superintendent

Position Pay Range: $35–50/hour DOE

We’re seeking a Commercial Construction Assistant Superintendent who is looking for a clear career path to becoming a Superintendent. You’ll gain direct mentorship from experienced leaders while developing the skills to manage your own projects in the future.

• A strong cultural fit who is team-oriented, motivated, and passionate about producing quality work.
• Leadership experience in commercial construction (foreman, lead carpenter, or similar roles).
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of safety practices; leads by example.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Comfortable with hand/power tools and equipment; prior carpentry skills a plus.
• Knowledge of construction means, methods, and sequencing.
• Proficiency in construction management software/scheduling tools preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Assist the Superintendent with day-to-day field leadership and operations.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field crews to keep projects on track.
• Support project quality, safety, and production goals.
• Support scheduling, site logistics, and project documentation.
• Troubleshoot issues, manage materials, and adapt to changing needs.
• Promote and enforce company safety policies and site standards.
