Position Title:
Assistant Superintendent
Position Pay Range: $35–50/hour DOE

We’re seeking a Commercial Construction Assistant Superintendent who is looking for a clear career path to becoming a Superintendent. You’ll gain direct mentorship from experienced leaders while developing the skills to manage your own projects in the future.

- Leadership experience in commercial construction (foreman, lead carpenter, or similar roles).
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of safety practices; leads by example.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Comfortable with hand/power tools and equipment; prior carpentry skills a plus.
- Knowledge of construction means, methods, and sequencing.
- Proficiency in construction management software/scheduling tools preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Assist the Superintendent with day-to-day field leadership and operations.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field crews to keep projects on track.
- Support project quality, safety, and production goals.
- Support scheduling, site logistics, and project documentation.
- Troubleshoot issues, manage materials, and adapt to changing needs.
- Promote and enforce company safety policies and site standards.
