Performance Contracting is seeking a motivated individual to join our growing employee‑owned organization as an entry‑level Associate Project Engineer for its Spokane 554 operations based in Spokane, WA
. The Associate Project Engineer role serves as a launching pad for future leaders within PCI, offering hands‑on experience in project management and estimating and setting the stage for professional growth and career advancement in an innovative environment.

• Conduct safety meetings
• Create and manage punch lists
• Support the Quality Control Measures outlined in PCI’s QA/QC program
• Prepare RFIs and submittals
• Manage labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance
• Perform quantitative takeoffs for material ordering
• Support the implementation of the job schedule
• Coordinate warranties and O&M schedules
• Coordinate materials with purchase orders and invoicing
• Maintain a safety-sensitive focus throughout all responsibilities

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in construction management, construction engineering, construction science, or comparable work experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (e.g., Excel, Word, etc.)
• Clear understanding of how to read and interpret specifications and drawings
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to learn new skills by engaging in technical job functions and applying new skills as taught
• Strong customer service and relationship‑building skills
• Critical‑thinking and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to multitask
• Motivated self‑starter with a strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative
• Works well under pressure and meets deadlines

• OSHA certifications
• Willingness to travel/relocate based on project needs
