Project Assistant

Glacier Property Solutions, a roofing and exterior restoration company headquartered in Coeur d’ Alene,  looking for a Project Assistant to join the team. This is perfect for a high school or college student looking to get into the trades and expand their knowledge of the home improvement/construction industry!

Glacier seeks this candidate to work closely with our Sales and Support team to assist on both residential and commercial re‑construction projects. The Project Assistant will report directly to the Field Supervisor and Owner/President.

As the company grows, there will be opportunities for the Project Assistant to take on new responsibilities and to share in the company’s success through our bonus and profit share program.

Duties of the Position: (Training Provided)

• Assist in managing repairs/punch list items with Production staff
• Assist in exterior repairs such as fascia, siding, trimwork, leaf guard, gutters and other trades that come up before or after the project.
• Assist with material pickup/scheduling and delivery to job site
• Assist with exterior projects (siding/windows/doors/gutter/gutter guard)
• Assist with reconstruction projects (interior / remodels / decks / other)
• Assist with other miscellaneous tasks per Field Supervisor
• Maintain a professional appearance

Skills/Qualifications/Must Haves
:

• Entry level position but knowledge of some construction practices a plus
• Strong communication and personnel management skills
• Professional appearance
• Comfortable climbing ladders and walking on roofs
• Handyman and carpentry skills a plus
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must be willing to take and pass drug test
• Must be willing to take and pass background check

Status - Compensation – Worksite

• Full‑time (salaried) – some Saturdays and evenings when job is complete
• Salary level is DOE
• Strong growth potential (income and education/industry knowledge)
