We are currently seeking a motivated and dependable Foreman to join our growing team. This position works closely with our Superintendents to support daily field operations, coordinate jobsite activities, and help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and confident working in a fast-paced construction environment. Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and job-site coordination skills are essential.
Responsibilities- Read and interpret survey staking, including cuts, fills, and offsets.
- Confirm survey layout is properly in place and ensure proper grading.
- Work with crew to set forms, place and finish site concrete, including curb, curb and gutter, ADA ramps, paving, sidewalks, driveways, seat walls, stairs, pervious concrete and stamped/architectural concrete.
- Attend pre-construction meetings.
- Attend weekly project site meetings.
- Coordinate manpower needs with the Superintendent and Dispatcher.
- Work directly with crew members on daily construction tasks and assist with problem-solving.
- Lead by example by maintaining high standards for quality, productivity, and safety.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, toolbox talks, and jobsite rules.
- Communicate progress, challenges, and material/equipment needs to the Superintendent.
- Review and understand blueprints, layout drawings, and project specifications.
- Be responsible for the quality and consistency of work being performed by the crew.
- Maintain a positive and respectful work environment while fostering teamwork.
- Minimum of 3 years of concrete construction experience required.
- Clean driving record that must meet minimum company criteria: this includes a valid driver's license.
- Pass a background check that meets minimum company criteria. Certain convictions that may disqualify an applicant for employment include, but not limited to: sexual assault or sexual misconduct offenses, crimes against children, domestic violence or domestic abuse offenses, other violent felony convictions relevant to the position.
- Ability to pass a drug screening (marijuana will not be included in screening, as permitted by Washington State law).
