4 News Now, the ABC affiliate in Spokane, Washington, is looking for a storyteller to join our dynamic, close-knit newsroom. Can you handle live breaking news as well as you can tell a fun, feature story? Want to be live on TV multiple times every hour, working with a news photographer to collaborate on live shots? We have the job for you!

You’ll report the news in the field and in the studio alongside a team of established, FUN journalists. 4 News Now in Spokane, Washington, is hiring a reporter for our morning newscast. This is the perfect job for someone who loves reporting and wants the flexibility to show some personality on the morning news.

You’ll work in a newsroom that values innovation, creativity, teamwork and strong community journalism. You’ll work for a boss that wants you to explore your passions – and you’ll do it in a really great place. You'll report alongside our team of dedicated, award-winning journalists in a competitive news market. Spokane is a fantastic, up-and-coming city with plenty of outdoor recreation to explore.

You'll also enjoy working for a family-owned company with a strong history in a city where even the longest commute to work takes less than 20 minutes.

As our Morning Show Reporter
, we will count on you to:

• Plan and execute live and pre-recorded content for our morning news show
• Work with a photographer in the field to more safely execute live coverage
• Use creativity and strategy to extend your coverage beyond television and onto digital platforms
• Use social media to gather and share information
• Assist online staff in preparing for multi-media stories

The Morning show Reporter will have a 4-year degree in journalism or related field and preferably 2+ years of experience as a Multi-Media Journalist. You bring your creativity, positive attitude and working knowledge of journalism ethics – and we’ll help you grow and learn.

Pay range: $20.00/hour – $22.00/hour
