Drs. Engen & Pizzini, a leading periodontal and orthodontic practice in Spokane, WA, is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Dental Hygienist to join our team. Drs. Engen & Pizzini is a distinguished Periodontal/Orthodontic practice committed to excellence in oral care. We focus on building lasting relationships with our patients and collaborating effectively with referring dental offices. Our practice offers a supportive environment where you will be empowered to make a meaningful impact. We are a busy northside practice that invests in our team by providing the latest technology and ongoing professional development.

• $57 - $60 per hour

- Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.

• Tuesday and Wednesday: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:45 AM – 3:30 PM
• An occasional fourth day may be required as needed.
• The office is closed on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

• License & Certification:
  Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, Basic life support, Licensed dental hygienist
• Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in Washington State.
• Proven experience in a dental hygienist role.
• Proficiency in scaling and root planing and administering dental anesthesia.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Strong knowledge of electronic chart documentation.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with patients and collaborate with a team.
• Passionate about your profession, reliable, energetic, and detail-oriented.

• Proficiency with Dentrix software.
• Experience in a periodontal or specialty dental office setting.

• Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing with precision.
• Provide comprehensive periodontal maintenance.
• Administer dental anesthesia as needed.
• Take and process dental X-rays, including periapical X-rays.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and patient charts.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and dental care.
• Collaborate professionally with colleagues and the dental team to ensure an excellent patient experience.
