Physician
Seeking a physician specialized in Internal Medicine with a focus on Gastroenterology. The role requires conducting an estimated 12 patient encounters per shift. Upper GI endoscopy is required, including biopsy and foreign body removal. Fulguration of bleeder procedures is also necessary. Diagnostic procedures are required. Therapeutic procedures are not required. Small bowel biopsy is required. Lower GI endoscopy is required, including colonoscopy and biopsy.
Colonoscopy with polyp excision is required. Esophageal manometry interpretation is required. The facility operates at a trauma level of 2. This opportunity is available for ongoing placement.
