- Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Call from 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Weekend Call included
- Hours/Week: 40+ hours/week
- Employment Type: Contract (Travel/Locum)
- Licenses/Certifications: Current Physician Assistant license, BLS required
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years in cardiothoracic surgery preferred
- Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 (pay package discussed upon application)

- Perform daily rounds for patient assessment and discharge planning
- Assist in all cardiothoracic surgical procedures, including robotic surgeries, bypass grafting, valve replacements, and implantations
- Manage post-operative care and monitor ICU and OR patients
- Participate in on-call rotations, handling emergency procedures and patient management
- Conduct history and physical exams, order labs, and develop treatment plans
- Support multidisciplinary team rounds and documentation
- Assist with chest tube management and patient discharges
- Valid Physician Assistant license in Washington State
- BLS certification required
- 3+ years of experience in cardiothoracic surgery or critical care
- Strong surgical assistance skills and knowledge of complex postoperative care
- Ability to work flexible hours and handle emergency cases efficiently
