What You’ll Do
  • Perform daily rounds for patient assessment and discharge planning
  • Assist in all cardiothoracic surgical procedures, including robotic surgeries, bypass grafting, valve replacements, and implantations
  • Manage post-operative care and monitor ICU and OR patients
  • Participate in on-call rotations, handling emergency procedures and patient management
  • Conduct history and physical exams, order labs, and develop treatment plans
  • Support multidisciplinary team rounds and documentation
  • Assist with chest tube management and patient discharges
What You Need
  • Valid Physician Assistant license in Washington State
  • BLS certification required
  • 3+ years of experience in cardiothoracic surgery or critical care
  • Strong surgical assistance skills and knowledge of complex postoperative care
  • Ability to work flexible hours and handle emergency cases efficiently
