Pediatric Intensivist

Pediatrix Medical Group is offering an exciting Pediatric Critical Care opportunity to join a thriving team at Sacred Heart Medical Center, the second-largest hospital in Washington State. The clinician will work in a high-acuity 20-bed PICU with robust sedation services and a high cardiac-need patient population. This role offers an engaging practice environment with 24/7 in-house physician coverage and no call responsibilities, allowing providers to enjoy the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

Practice Info

• High-acuity practice serving a large catchment area, which includes Eastern Washington, Central Washington, and Eastern Oregon
• 20-bed PICU with an average daily census of 10-12 patients
• Level II Pediatric and Adult Trauma Center
• Level I Cardiac Center
• Pediatric intensivists cater to high cardiac-need patient population
• Robust sedation service offering significant procedural opportunities

Compensation

• Starting Pay Range (Base Pay): $240,000-$300,000
• Compensation based on years of experience post-fellowship

Shift & Schedule

• 24/7 in-house physician coverage, no call responsibilities
• Work approximately 12 shifts per month

Requirements

• Must be BE/BC in Pediatric Critical Care
• Physicians with cardiac fellowship training or dual board certification are strongly encouraged to apply
• Ideal candidates will have experience in cardiovascular critical care through a cardiac-focused training program
