Job Description
The Pre-K Director/Instructional Coach is a district-level leadership position responsible for overseeing all operations of the Carlisle County Preschool/Head Start Program while also providing instructional support across the district. This role ensures high-quality early childhood services and strengthens the district's MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Support) and PLC (Professional Learning Community) process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in early childhood education, instructional coaching, data-driven decision making, and collaborative leadership.
Essential duties include but are not limited to:
- Overseeing all daily operations of PreK/Head Start Program.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Manage program budgets, grants, reporting, and documentation.
- Supervise and support staff.
- Develop curriculum aligned with Kentucky Early Childhood Standards.
- Coordinate enrollment, screenings, etc.
Instructional Coaching & MTSS Leadership duties:
- Provide instructional coaching to PK-12 staff with a focus on evidence-based strategies, student engagement, and continuous improvement.
- Lead the coordination of the district's MTSS structures.
- Support schools in analyzing data.
- Assist teachers and PLC teams.
Candidate qualifications:
- Strong leadership skills.
- Ability to analyze academic and behavioral data.
- Proficiency in collaborating with teachers, parents, administration, and community partners.
