Job Description
Title: Supervision Para educator, Continuous Curriculum School
Location: East Valley School District, Spokane Valley, Washington
Start Date: August 12, 2026
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM (1.5 hours/day, 191 days/year). Hours may vary depending on district needs.
Salary: $19.01 – $22.39 per hour, dependent on placement.
Reports to: Principal and Program Director or designee
Position Type: Part‑time continuing position.
Responsibilities- Assist the teacher in the implementation, preparation and organization of the Title I or LAP program and materials.
- Assist the teacher with record‑keeping tasks as directed.
- Assist the teacher in screening eligible students as assigned.
- Administer appropriate diagnostic materials as prescribed by the program and directed by the teacher.
- Work daily with students in accordance with scheduled times.
- Facilitate and complete learning experiences designated by the teacher.
- Record progress of students on daily task sheets.
- Utilize district software programs, including Skyward, Word, Excel, and SMI.
- Maintain appropriate student records and other records as directed.
- Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Current First Aid/CPR Card.
- Proof of immunization if born on or after 1/1/1957.
