Youth Camp Coordinator - Instruction & Classroom Support Technician 2 (Non-permanent classified paid hourly)
Location: Magnuson Spokane
Department: District Workforce Development
Salary Range: $22.56 - $30.29 per hour
Contract: Non-permanent classified paid hourly, maximum 18 months
Status: Open continuously
Job SummaryUnder general direction of the Workforce Training & Continuing Education Program Manager, the Youth Camp Coordinator will plan and lead camp activities with support from Youth Camp Counselors.
Duties and Responsibilities- Lead four one-week youth camp sessions for 6th to 12th grade students.
- Direct planned activities and collaborate with instructors to set up and lead activities.
- Coordinate with industry contacts to finalize details for company tours and arrange transportation with van pool.
- Communicate with students and parents regarding company tours and camp logistics.
- Ensure campers' safety.
