Are you passionate about helping young children learn, explore, and grow? We’re looking for a Full-Time Preschool Teacher to join our amazing team at Crayon College!
This position is now available for applications we are excited to find the right teacher to join our Preschool classroom. We’re looking for someone who is caring, enthusiastic, and eager to make a lasting difference in each child’s early learning journey.

What You’ll DoPlan and implement fun, age-appropriate activities that promote growth and development (we use Creative Curriculum). You will start as a co‑teacher with a transition to lead teacher for the summer months.
Create a warm, welcoming classroom where children feel safe, confident, and excited to learn.
Encourage self‑help skills, cooperation, and independence as children prepare for the school.
Communicate regularly with families.
Requirements18 years of age or older
Passion for working with children and helping them reach developmental milestones
Dependable, positive, and team-oriented
Must meet all Washington State DCYF (Department of Children, Youth, and Families) requirements, including but not limited to:
- Completion of a Portable Background Check through the DCYF MERIT system
- Current CPR/First Aid certification and Bloodborne Pathogens training
- Proof of negative TB test or screening
- Up-to-date MMR immunization documentation or exemption
- Completion of required training modules, including 30‑hour stars
- Food Handlers Card

- Typical hours: 8:45 AM – 5:15 PM but may vary
