Soccer Shots Coach
Some people have a gift. Children naturally respond to them. They bring energy, encouragement, and confidence into every room they enter. If that's you, Soccer Shots might be the perfect fit. We're looking for energetic, dependable coaches to lead fun, engaging soccer sessions for children ages 2-8. This isn't just about soccer. It's about helping children build confidence, develop character, and discover they can do hard things.
Soccer Shots is an engaging children's soccer program that positively impacts children's lives through the game of soccer. Our expert-designed curriculum combines age-appropriate soccer instruction with character development, helping children grow both on and off the field. Every week we help children build confidence, teamwork, perseverance, respect, and encouragement. We teach soccer. We build people.
You'll arrive at a local preschool, childcare center, elementary school, or park and spend the next 30-45 minutes becoming the highlight of a child's day. You'll lead games, celebrate successes, encourage efforts, and help children develop new skills while having a blast. At the end of the session, you'll pack up your equipment and head home knowing you made a positive impact in the lives of children.
Many of our best coaches have backgrounds in teaching, childcare, church ministry, summer camps, youth mentoring, recreation, and education. No soccer experience is necessary. We provide all the training and curriculum you'll need. We're looking for people who:
- Love working with children
- Bring positive energy and enthusiasm
- Communicate well with others
- Are dependable and responsible
- Want to make a meaningful difference
This position is ideal for teachers, para educators, childcare professionals, education majors, and others who enjoy working with young children. If people often tell you, "Kids seem to love you," there's a good chance you'll thrive on our team.
Coaches should be available for at least three coaching blocks each week. Available coaching opportunities include weekday mornings, weekday afternoons/evenings, and Saturday mornings. Schedules remain consistent throughout each season, allowing coaches to build meaningful relationships with the same children, families, and schools week after week.
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to stand, run, and actively participate during sessions
- Willingness to complete all training requirements
Compensation: $17.75 - $22.00 per hour
