About Us

Spokane Community College, part of Spokane Colleges, serves 15,000 students with career technical, liberal arts, and adult education programs. Our Inchelium Center offers liberal arts courses as well as programs in Health Sciences and Environmental Sciences to a small cohort of dedicated students from the Colville Tribes and surrounding rural communities.

The advertised adjunct position supports our Certificate in Forest and Wildlife Habitat Sampling. Coursework for the certificate is taught in‑person from the Inchelium Center, and most courses have a field lab component. This forestry‑based certificate forms the first year of each of our Natural Resource AAS degrees. It also serves as standalone preparation for seasonal hands‑on work with Tribal, state and federal agencies in the natural resource fields.

First review of applications will occur on 05/11/2026; interested applicants are encouraged to apply early.

Responsibilities

Serve as instructor for several of the in‑person courses described in Table 1.
