We invite you to join the team and be a part of this vibrant environment! We are seeking a lead teacher for our 2.5 - 3-year-olds preschool class. This position is Monday–Friday, from 6:50 am to 2:30 pm. We are open year-round, except holidays.

DescriptionA lead teacher must meet the following qualifications:
- Be at least eighteen years old.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent; and complete the applicable preservice requirements.
- Have an ECE initial certificate or equivalent as approved and verified in the electronic workforce registry by the department within five years from being employed or promoted into this position at any licensed early learning program.
- Progress towards an ECE short certificate or equivalent. A center lead teacher must have an ECE short certificate within two years of receiving an ECE initial certificate, or seven years from being employed or promoted into this position at any licensed early learning program.
- Have their professional development progress documented annually.
- Previous learning center/daycare experience.
- A love and talent for working with young children while sharing a love of the Lord.
- Implement a daily and weekly schedule as determined by curriculum.
- Maintain a positive, consistent and nurturing environment.
- Communicate with parents and families about each child’s development.
- Sustain a clean and safe classroom environment.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Knowledge of child development, teaching strategies and appropriate activities for 2-6 year-olds.
- Ability to stick to deadlines and complete paperwork in a timely manner.
- Ability to work closely with other teachers as a team.
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Brightwheel or similar program experience.
- Basic computer skills, including e-mail and word processing.
- Background check
- CPR certification with infant/child
- Childcare Basics
