Humanities Instructor – Adjunct – Spokane Community College
Location: Spokane CC Main Campus, Spokane
Department: SCC Social Sciences/Humanities
Employment: Part‑time adjunct, Open continuous. First review of applications will occur on 04/25/2026.
Salary: $42.05 – $89.48 per hour, pro‑rated based on workload.
Duties and Responsibilities- Prepare for and instruct college‑level courses in cultural studies in face‑to‑face, hybrid, or online formats based on department need.
- Communicate expectations, establish clear grading criteria, develop course syllabi, handouts, and instructional materials; evaluate student progress and provide timely feedback.
- Maintain availability to students through scheduled office hours, e‑mail, and other effective communication methods.
- Maintain accurate records of course grades.
- Participate in department and general faculty meetings when germane.
