Student Recruitment Coordinator and Advisor
As a Student Recruitment Coordinator and Advisor supporting the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine, you will be responsible for working closely with the Director of Student Recruitment in developing, implementing, and presenting recruiting strategies and programming. Additionally, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination and implementation of recruitment visits, events, and workshops, both local and distant for the College of Medicine's MD program, Nutrition and Exercise Physiology (NEP), and the Speech and Hearing Sciences (SHS) programs as well as the Master's in Health Administration Leadership (MHAL) program.
This will include giving presentations to prospective students and collegiate level advisors.
In this position, you will provide academic advising and closely related activities for prospective applicants for the above-named programs. In addition, you will respond to academic inquiries and educate prospective applicants on the requirements for admission into these programs and share department and college degree requirements.
As the Student Recruitment Coordinator and Advisory, you will support the Senior Director of Admissions with interview day preparation and day-of coordination, data input and manipulation and correspondence. In this position, you will also support the Assistant Dean for Healthy Equity in delivering pathway programming and pathway student needs.

The screening of applicants begins July 25, 2026. This is a full time (100 % FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime eligible. Monthly Salary: $3,750.85 - $5,397.56 | Commensurate with experience and qualifications In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications:- Positions require a Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of professional work experience in student services or related education/experience. A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one (1) year of professional work experience. Any combination of relevant education and professional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year‐for‐year basis.
- Experience in providing support, assistance and/or coordinating activities such as admissions, advising, career counseling, financial aid, outreach, recruitment/retention or other similar activities in a higher education, or equivalent setting.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills necessary to represent the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine's programs in a professional manner.
- Demonstrated strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office software including, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Must have, or be able to obtain by time of hire, a valid driver's license and meet requirements in accordance with SPPM 7.10 and departmental driving standards.
- Experience with health professions or medical school recruitment strategies.
- Public speaking experience.
