Application Engineering Intern – Summer 2026

About this positionThis position is with our Adhesive Technologies business unit – where we empower our people to transform industries and provide our customers with a competitive advantage through adhesives, sealants and functional coatings.
What you'll do- Get hands‑on lab experience testing various adhesive chemistries
- Support customer adhesive applications and project work
- Provide technical support, perform research, and report on adhesive and dispensing equipment performance
- Work independently and collaboratively on lab‑based projects
- Act as a technical liaison with customers, sales, marketing, manufacturing, and R&D teams
- Gain experience in adhesive testing, statistical analysis, and project management
- Undergraduate student graduating in 2027 or 2028 pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Packaging Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- Strong problem‑solving and project‑management abilities
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Hands‑on lab experience from coursework or previous internship

Additional information- This internship is eligible for a housing stipend or relocation support
- Henkel’s Summer 2026 internship program starts on May 27th, 2026, and runs through mid‑August
- Recruitment for our 2026 internships starts in late August 2025 and runs through early March 2026 or until all our positions are filled
The salary for this role is $22‑$27/hour. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
