Mechanical Designer 1

Wagstaff, Inc. seeks a highly skilled Mechanical Designer 1 to join our Engineering & Design team. The selected candidate will contribute to the design and development of cutting-edge aluminum direct chill casting equipment. This position involves the application of engineering principles to design products that meet client specifications and production standards. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be crucial to innovate and enhance equipment performance, ensuring Wagstaff, Inc.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems using CAD and other engineering tools.
• Collaborate with engineers and manufacturing teams to ensure design specifications and standards.
• Create detailed design documentation and material specifications.
• Review and test new designs, adjust as necessary to meet technical and manufacturing requirements.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand product requirements and deliver innovative solutions.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in CAD software, particularly Auto
• CAD and Solid
