Key Responsibilities

The HPL Specialist will be responsible for the development and drafting of hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication system components integrated into our production equipment. This role also involves maintaining and improving Comact’s standard drawings while contributing to the design, modification, and optimization of systems that interact with mechanical components.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Engineering and Design teams in product design and development;
  • Actively participating in the design of hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication systems;
  • Verifying the compliance of hydraulic and pneumatic components, as well as lubrication systems, based on machine technical specifications;
  • Occasionally traveling to Comact divisions and customer sites to provide technical support (on a voluntary basis).
Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or Technical/Industrial Drafting, a vocational or technical diploma in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience in hydraulic and pneumatic systems;
  • Basic knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication systems (an asset);
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Solid Works;
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems (an asset).
