Wagstaff Inc, a global leader in financial services, seeks a Mechanical Engineer to design and optimize critical mechanical systems that power trading, data, and office environments. In this role, you will develop and analyze HVAC, cooling, and mechanical infrastructure to ensure reliability, efficiency, and regulatory compliance across our facilities. Working in a collaborative and innovative culture, you'll partner with technology, operations, and facilities teams to support high-availability financial systems, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to sustainable, resilient engineering solutions that enable client success and long-term growth.

Responsibilities

  • Design, analyze, and optimize mechanical systems supporting financial data centers, trading floors, and office infrastructure
  • Develop mechanical specifications for HVAC, cooling, and equipment layouts to ensure reliability and uptime of financial systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical solutions into complex financial technology environments
  • Perform simulations, stress analyses, and performance testing to validate mechanical designs
  • Oversee vendor selection, equipment procurement, and installation for mechanical components and systems
  • Support risk assessments, resiliency planning, and regulatory compliance for critical mechanical infrastructure
  • Prepare technical documentation, drawings, and reports for stakeholders and regulatory bodies
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues impacting system performance and operational continuity
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance energy efficiency and lifecycle performance of mechanical assets
  • Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and contribute to innovation projects across the organization
