Position: Tribal Gaming Agent I - Possible Trainee
Closing date: friday, june 19, 2026, end of business day position: tribal gaming agent i (possible trainee) salary: doe, starting at $20.55 per hour (fully qualified) reports to: tga senior and tga field supervisor location: manson, washingtonbasic functions: non-exempt. The tribal gaming agent (tga) i is a mid-level position. Tga i’s are responsible for on-site regulation of the colville gaming llc (gaming operator) as authorized by the tribal/state compact and colville tribal code 6-5 (gaming) to assure all applicable laws, rules and regulations, and policies and procedures are implemented and the gaming operator meets all compliance requirements.for

the protection of the tribes and gaming public, tgas conduct compliance audits, including, but not limited to, investigations of known or alleged code violations and unethical or illegal acts of employees, managers, patrons, and others, as required by applicable laws, rules, regulations, and policies affecting gaming. Thus, tga maintains the honesty, fairness, integrity, and security of the gaming operation.tribal gaming agents are responsible for reporting on compliance issues of employees, managers, and supervisors of the colville gaming llc operations.minimum

qualifications:education and training:must possess a high school diploma or ged; andmust have an associate degree in law enforcement or accounting or closely related field; or24 months of combined work experience/training/education within the gaming industry, law enforcement, or accounting field;or36 months of progressive responsible clerical accounting, bookkeeping, or closely related experience demonstrating the ability to perform the functions of this position.must

possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be eligible for the tribe’s vehicle insurance.must be qualified and suitable for a tribal gaming license under tribal, state, and federal requirements. Tribal gaming license applications must be completed and submitted by the deadline date to be considered.possible trainee position employee training plan would need to be completed (cct salary policy and salary appendix a, resolution )knowledge, skills, and abilities:proficient knowledge of:class ii and class iii gaming regulations and rules under the indian gaming regulatory act (igra), national indian gaming commission (nigc), the cct tribal/state compact, and the colville tribal gaming commission (ctgc).basic

network navigation, and general office practices and procedures.working knowledge of:computers and skills using certain microsoft office software applications.basic knowledge of:table games and rules of play offered in gaming facility.all ctgc checklists, audit tools and gaming system checklist and completion of reviews and or audits.colville gaming casino’s surveillance and security operations.skills and ability to:analyze and research various data, identification or sensitive applications, and problem areas.carry

out assignments discreetly, effectively, and efficiently in sensitive, confidential  motivated and work independently, to be detail oriented (written and oral), and to have a consistent above-average work attendance record.relay recommendations, and give effective presentations and/or responses to questions from managers, patrons, employees, or the general public.communicate to management verbally or in written form.track multiple incidents involving multiple parties and follow up to ensure those items have been resolved or are in the process of resolution.research,

interpret, and apply appropriate gaming rules, regulations, policies and procedures as well as related tribal, federal and state compact requirements.document events witnessed throughout each shift, daily thru data entry, word processing, maintaining multiple spreadsheets, performing information searches, and email.maintain records, files, and compile routine information used for reports on pre-determined formats.routinely comb through data received in report from multiple resources, in order to identify and red flag possible theft, embezzlement, or system deficiencies.learn

and adapt to the ongoing changes of the organization.meet deadlines.write grammatically correct reports and other documentation.physical abilities:must be able to function indoors engaged in work of primarily a combination of operative and sedentary nature.requires the ability to use near vision to write and to read printed materials and computer screens.requires: hearing and speech for ordinary and telephonic conversation and to hear sound prompts from equipment;
