Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth
- Verify patient documentation and maintain compliance with DC regulations
- Maintain accurate patient records and update patient information
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dispensary
- Ensure menus, products, and accessories are stocked and updated
- Support daily dispensary operations, opening/closing duties, and team communication
- Educate patients on renewals, products, accessories, and the DC medical cannabis program
- Must be a current medical cannabis card holder (any state is fine)
- Ability to use office equipment (computers and printers) and their included software i.e. Word, Excel, email etc.
- Required to undergo a criminal background check and appropriate state badging (as directed by state ordinances)
- Must be able to work weekends, nights and holidays
- Must be able to work OUTSIDE in all weather conditions, with the proper accommodations, for up to 9 hours at a time
- Must have a passion to service our patients with care
- Consistent demonstration of excellent customer service skills
- Must be 21 years of age and comply with local, state and company regulations

Required Skills- Consistent demonstration of excellent customer service skills
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- Desire to continuously learn (more) about cannabis, cannabinoids and the endocannabinoid system
- Ability to listen well and effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with various audiences
- 1+ year of customer service experience; preference for candidates with specialty, customer-facing retail experience
- Previous experience with POS systems
- Understanding of applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives and standard operating procedures
