Game Night : Radio; Part-Time​/Seasonal

Monumental Sports & Entertainment (MSE) is one of the largest integrated sports and entertainment companies in the country with diverse partnerships across major league sports, esports, and media.

MSE also manages Med Star Capitals Iceplex, Med Star Health Performance Center, Eagle Bank Arena, and the Caesars Sports book in partnership with Caesars Entertainment.

In spring 2023, MSE opened “District E powered by Ticketmaster,” a flagship esports and entertainment venue that hosts immersive experiences throughout the year. The 14,000‑square‑foot live‑event theater provides esports, music, culinary excellence, event programming, and community events.

Position Overview: This part‑time seasonal position will assist the Washington Capitals Radio Network and public relations department. Game Night Staff will assist with duties during Capitals preseason, regular season, and playoff home games throughout the 2024‑25 season.

• Assist with posting game audio to Capitals Radio Network social channels.
• Post audio clips on social channels pregame, including head coach and player interviews.
• Assist with collecting information for out‑of‑town scoreboard for radio host/content producer.
• Additional duties as assigned.

• Organized, able to multi‑task and problem solve in a fast‑paced work environment.
• Hard working, detail oriented, and results driven.
• Strong leadership skills; a great teammate who enjoys working in a team environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Customer‑service oriented.
• Previous journalism, radio, public relations or communications experience preferred.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Flexibility to work at least 90% of Capitals home games (typical game night hours: 4‑10:30 p.m.).

Pay Rate: $17.50 USD/hour.
