D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Financial Analyst. The right candidate will analyze and assimilate financial data into useful management tools. This position is on-site, Monday through Friday, in the Spokane Valley WA office. The annual compensation for this role is $85,000 - $90,000, commensurate with experience, plus quarterly bonuses.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOther duties may be assigned.
- Assist with the divisional business plan process, ensuring quality, accuracy, and analytical review
- Compile departmental budgets into GMA/GPA format
- Oversee project profitability spanning the life of a project
- Equip management with profitability analysis and reporting, including actual to enable informed decision-making
- Identify problem areas. Evaluate, recommend, and implement alternative solutions
- Provide accounting support in addition to managing special projects
- Assist with month-end closing and analysis of results
- Prepare various reports and analyses required by Corporate
- Provide financial advice to managers
- Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
May directly manage two or more employees in the Accounting Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Four to seven years of related experience and/or training
- Proficiency with MS Office and email
- CPA preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and attention to detail
