Finance Accountant

Overview

Axis Residential is a forward‑thinking, property management organization, part of Inland Group – a vertically integrated real estate developer, contractor, and operator of multifamily and senior housing communities. Axis Residential is hiring a Treasury Accountant in Spokane, WA.

• Complete intercompany transfers for accounts payable, management fees, and payroll billbacks from the property portfolio to the management company.
• Process month‑end security deposit adjustment transfers for the property portfolio.
• Prepare and distribute weekly Virtual Credit Card (VCC) banking reports.
• Monitor escrow distributions.
• Prepare banking documentation for opening new entity bank accounts.
• Administer the company’s corporate credit card program, including setting up new cardholders, maintaining cardholder training materials, temporary credit limit increases, and reviewing and posting monthly corporate credit card activity.
• Assist with vendor accounts receivable reconciliations and dispute resolution.
• Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual state and local B&O and Sales & Use Tax reports, ensuring timely compliance.
• Assist management with ad hoc reporting, special projects, and other tasks as needed.
• Work with the Assistant Controller for approval of accounting records.

• Advanced proficiencies in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong general computer skills and excellent written communication in English.
• Team player who takes a “we over me” approach to building and supporting a collaborative environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred;
  Associate’s degree acceptable.
