Client Relationship Consultants are responsible for building lasting relationships by meeting customers face‑to‑face and engaging them when and where they need support. Strong relationships are built on trust, assessment of clients’ banking needs, collection of account information, education on deposit and loan products, and recommendation of tailored financial solutions. Consultants also originate and close consumer loans, open accounts, and manage branch opening/closing activities.
National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and RegulationZ is required. Candidates must complete the registration process, which includes a criminal background and credit check. Failure to meet or maintain any NMLS registration requirements may result in rescission of the offer or termination of employment.
Basic Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent
- Five or more years of customer service experience
- Five or more years of sales experience
- Advanced knowledge of retail product philosophy, policy, procedures, documentation and systems
- Advanced knowledge of all retail products and services
- Proven customer service and interpersonal skills
- Experience in participating in sales campaigns/promotions
- Strong mathematical, problem‑solving and negotiation skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in the financial services industry preferred
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
