We are seeking a highly articulate, detail-oriented professional with strong investment knowledge and exceptional communication skills. The Investment Operations Specialist executes and maintains client investment strategies through accurate trade processing, account management, and ongoing service. This is a non-managerial, individual contributor role dedicated exclusively to investment operations and delivering a high-quality client experience.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Investment Execution & Account Management- Execute trades, distributions, and incoming investments
- Process account funding, deposits, and transaction activity
- Open and maintain client accounts (IRAs, qualified plans, trusts, and non-qualified accounts)
- Manage account transfers, rollovers, and conversions
- Guide clients through account onboarding and servicing needs
- Prepare investment proposals and supporting materials for advisor meetings
- Maintain accurate documentation and communication across all investment activities
- Perform ongoing account servicing and maintenance updates (portfolio model management, rebalancing)
- Ensure proper application of firm investment models within client accounts
- Monitor transactions for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
- Rebalance and manage client accounts for tax sensitivity
- Stay informed on market trends and investment product updates
- Ensure all activities align with firm policies and regulatory requirements
- Maintain high accuracy and attention to detail in all operational processes
- Follow established workflows and operational best practices
- Licenses:
Active Series 7 license - Experience:
5+ years in investment operations, trading, or financial services
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, or related field preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage responsibilities in an efficient manner
- High level of accuracy and accountability
- Exceptional verbal and written communication and client service skills
- Self-starter who can learn quickly, adapt to new systems, strategies and frameworks
- Professional, reliable, and composed under pressure
