The Beauty Counter Manager creates personalized beauty experiences while driving sales for the assigned beauty brand. This role combines customer-focused selling and beauty education, building customer relationships in-store and digitally.
Responsibilities- Provide makeup applications and skincare analyses, and recommend products based on customer goals.
- Set and achieve sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools, including text and social media.
- Manage vendor events and promotions, and build strong vendor relationships.
- Maintain an organized, clean, customer-ready department and build customer loyalty.
- Process sales, refunds, and exchanges, and help customers open Nordstrom Rewards accounts.
- Passion for beauty, customer service, makeup application, skincare, and current trends.
- Strong customer connection, communication, multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to stand and move for 6-8 hours per shift and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
