Surgical Technologist Student Resident

Description

The Surgical Technologist Residency Student is a student who has not yet completed an accredited Surgical Technology program (CAAHEP or ABHES) but is able to perform tasks in the surgical setting under the delegation of authority of a licensed health care practitioner and a staff Surgical Technologist preceptor. Surgical Technologist Resident Students will function as a clinical student during their program clinical experience.

This experience will be educational, and the student will not function independently.

• Washington Surgical Technologist Registration upon hire.
• 1 year of currently enrolled in a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited surgical technology program and has completed program-specific lab skill checkoffs.

$17.00 - $23.89. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
