Senior Research Associate, Data Analysis

Milken Institute School of Public Health, George Washington University, is a leading public health institution. This position focuses on data analysis for a global, multi‑site study funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, capturing maternal and newborn health outcomes in Kenya, India, and Pakistan.

Responsibilities include:

• Analyze longitudinal data with guidance from the Principal Investigator and in collaboration with other team members, including GW and external international collaborators.
• Develop queries to ensure consistency, completeness, and accuracy of data.
• Write and run code for site‑specific data quality assessment; interpret and present findings in a monthly monitoring report and scientific publications.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in a related discipline and 3 years of direct experience in the field. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Doctoral‑level coursework in epidemiology and biostatistics.
• Experience in data analysis using SAS, R, or Stata.
• Experience working with global partners to implement health research projects.
• Experience living or working outside the United States.
