Penny farthing is a PhD-owned, clinician-led, clinic-based organization. We are growing and seeking a thoughtful, independent, and mission-driven BCBA to join our Spokane team.
This is not a high-burnout, churn-and-bill position. We are building a culture of clinical excellence, mentorship, and long-term professional development to foster quality services in and around Spokane.

Our team supports multiple BCBA trainees actively accruing supervision hours. As a BCBA at Penny farthing, you will have opportunities to:
Supervise and mentor BCBA candidates
Shape clinical standards across cases
Participate in case consultation and peer review
Engage in ongoing professional development beyond minimum CEU requirements

Flexible Schedule Within a Structured Clinical ModelThis position offers flexibility within clinic operating hours of 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM. One of the open positions will fill a 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM schedule, and part/full time positions are available.
BCBAs are provided autonomy in:
- Designing their weekly schedule and coordinating directly with our administrative support team
- Structuring supervision blocks
- Allocating time for programming, report writing, and collaboration with colleagues, our Clinical Director, and the founder to ensure alignment in roles and professional interests
- Developing specialty areas of interest
- We believe flexibility improves clinical judgment, sustainability, and work-life integration.
- Conducting direct and indirect behavioral assessments
- Supervising and training assistant behavior analysts and behavior technicians
- Providing caregiver and stakeholder training and support
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Generating comprehensive clinical documentation and reports
- Upholding the highest ethical and professional standards
- Opportunities for leadership, program development, and applied research are available for those interested.
- Current BCBA or BCBA-D in good standing
- Strong clinical writing and assessment skills
- Understanding of complex behavior analysis as applied to transition-aged individuals entering adulthood and participating in their broader communities
- Commitment to ethical practice and professional growth
- Ability to pass fingerprint background check
- We are especially interested in clinicians who value mentorship, systems thinking, and long-term professional development.
- We understand that having a BCBA and just completing a Master Degree does not make one an expert in the field. We LOVE to support those who are new to the role, and afford mentorship opportunities to ensure steady growth and development. Starting salary for new BCBAs: $60,000+, with higher compensation based on experience and demonstrated competence
