RN - Wound Care

This position is located in a rehabilitation facility in Washington.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:00). Block schedules are required.

The Wound Ostomy Registered Nurse will provide specialized patient care focusing on wound and ostomy management. The nurse in this role will float between units as necessary and will be responsible for managing patient care plans, assessing and monitoring patients, and educating patients and their families on wound care and ostomy management.

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients with wounds and ostomies.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate care plans for patients.
• Provide education and training to patients and family members regarding care and management of wounds and ostomies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Float as necessary between different units to meet patient care needs.

• 1 year of experience in a relevant nursing specialty.
• National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy Certification is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Valid Washington or Compact RN license is required at the time of submission.
