Description

Oversees and participates in the delivery of high quality professional and clinical care. The Supervisor Behavioral Health will manage and coordinate a variety of supervisory and clinical duties and responsibilities associated with unit/department, to ensure efficient operation, skills and competencies of caregivers, and effectiveness of clinical competencies. Assists in supervising the daily work of the department team, assigning and monitoring patient care.

Serves as the leader to support and ensure staff are educated and meet clinical performance and competencies. Acts as an advocate and helps patient gain access to resources while confronting their personal issues, such as mental illness, addiction, and abuse. This position will provide direct supervision to caregivers in their assigned department.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) in an education program accredited by the council on social work education and approved by the secretary based upon nationally recognized standards.
  • Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or Behavioral Sciences from an approved school. Or
  • Master's Degree in Addiction Counseling
  • Washington Marriage and Family Therapist License upon hire. OR
  • Washington Mental Health Counselor License upon hire. OR
  • Washington Mental Health Counselor Certificate upon hire. OR
  • Washington Counselor Certified Adviser Certification upon hire. OR
  • Washington Counselor Certified Certification upon hire. OR
  • Washington Advanced Social Worker License upon hire. OR
  • Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker License upon hire. OR
  • Washington Social Worker Certificate upon hire.
  • 2 years of Clinical behavioral healthcare experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year of Leadership experience

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
