• Consult patients about physical condition.
• Assess and interpret patient evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans.
• Create fitness-oriented health care programs.
• Administer prescribed physical therapy.
• Coach and teach therapeutic exercises.
• Use hands-on therapy (massage).
• Provide injury prevention education.
• Document patient care.
• Comply with regulations.

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from APTA-accredited program required.
• Physical Therapist, Licensed (PT) state licensure required.
• Pass National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from APTA Commission on Accreditation.
• 2,000+ hours direct patient care as licensed PT within 10 years.
• State licensure and passing NPTE exam required.
