Occupational Therapist – Inpatient Rehab

Description

Providence St. Luke's Rehabilitation Medical Center in Spokane, WA is seeking a part‑time, day‑shift Occupational Therapist (OT) to plan and administer treatments for patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities through the therapeutic use of everyday activities. The OT will help patients develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, nurses, and physicians.

Schedule Details

Part‑time, 20 hours per week, day shift.

Responsibilities

Assess patients’ functional status and set individualized goals.

Design and implement therapeutic interventions using daily living activities and adaptive equipment.

Evaluate progress, modify treatment plans, and document outcomes.

Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care and ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Communicate with patients, families, and staff in a respectful, courteous manner, serving as a positive representative of the hospital.

Required Qualifications

Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirement.
Washington Occupational Therapist License upon hire.
National Provider BLS – American Heart Association certification upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications

Occupational Therapy experience.
