Medical Assistants are an integral part of the care team, working closely with licensed practitioners to deliver patient care. The role encompasses both administrative and clinical duties such as maintaining patient records, preparing patients and rooms for examination, and assisting physicians during exams.
LocationSpokane, WA – Home Clinic positions across Downtown, North, South, Liberty Lake, and Spokane Valley clinics (General Pediatrics and Pediatric Specialties).
Qualifications Associate Medical Assistant Required Qualifications:- Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with clinical training
- Or graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program
- Or completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces
- Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant, including vital signs, injections, and medication administration
- Upon hire:
Washington Medical Assistant Certification - National Provider BLS – American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
- Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting (0‑6 months)
- 6 months prior experience providing high‑level customer service in a fast‑paced environment
- 6 months experience working with an Electronic Health Record (EHR)
- Washington Medical Assistant Registration within 60 days of hire
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
- Six months of healthcare experience
- Six months of Medical Assistant experience
- Coursework/Training in Medical Assistant, Medical Office Assistant, Medical Secretary, or Health Unit Coordinator/Clerk
- Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with clinical training
- Or graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program
- Or completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces
- Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant, including vital signs, injections, and medication administration
- Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
- Six months of health‑care experience
- Six months of Medical Assistant experience
Sign‑on bonus of $2,500 for eligible rehire and external candidates meeting all conditions, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one. Career Growth- Senior Medical Assistant – pay range $19.38 – $30.23
- Lead Medical Assistant – pay range $21.54 – $33.59
