CNA - Float Personnel

Description

The Nursing Assistant works within scope of practice under the direction of the Registered Nurse to assist in providing care and carrying out delegated activities of the nursing plan. S/he demonstrates an understanding of basic nursing skills and skills unique to the assigned clinical unit(s).

• Meeting the hygienic, nutritional, elimination, activity, comfort, and safety needs of patients.
• Obtaining and reporting vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure).
• Performing urine reductions, transporting (transfers, discharges), and other patient movements.
• Obtaining supplies and equipment as necessary from designated departments.

• Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.

• Competitive base pay range: $21.88 – $31.13.
