Responsibilities
The Radiology Technologist performs a variety of technical radiographic procedures to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis.
Assumes responsibility for assigned areas and/or procedures as requested, and is expected to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of radiologic principles while utilizing the department protocol.
Performs all duties in a manner promoting team collaboration and reflecting the mission and values of Providence Health & Services.
Required Qualifications- Graduation from an accredited and approved program for diagnostic radiologic technology.
- Upon hire:
Washington Radiologic Technologist. - Upon hire:
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. - Upon hire:
National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Radiographic experience.
- Experience in a clinical setting.
- Experience with customer service, computer programs (Microsoft Office Suite) and Electronic Medical Records software.
