Description
The registered Ultrasound Technologist performs ultrasound procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of ultrasound principles. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply non‑ionizing, high‑frequency ultrasonic waves to patients for ultrasound diagnosis. Performs all duties in a manner which promotes team concept and reflects the mission and values of Providence Health & Services.

Required Qualifications- Coursework/Training Completion of education program that meets ARDMS prerequisite requirements for RDMS examination.
- Upon hire:
National Registered Technologist
- Sonography Or - Upon hire:
National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography - Upon hire:
National Provider BLS
- American Heart Association
- Experience in assisting with the following OB procedures: chorionic villus sampling (CVS), Percutaneous Umbilical Blood Sampling (PUBS), and amniocentesis.
- Experience with electronic medical databases, like Epic.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
