Patient Concierge​/Patient Services Rep

Empire Eye is a progressive ophthalmic medical and surgical practice. We are seeking a Patient Concierge to join our team.

Job Type: Full-time

• Scheduling appointments, verifying demographic and financial information, and completing patient registration in the EHR system.
• Collecting detailed medical histories.
• Providing patients with accurate expectations regarding exam visits.
• Coordinating care with other services and triaging calls to clinical staff.
• Managing documentation and follow-up.
• Providing exemplary customer service for patients.
• Patient check-in and check-out, answering phones.
• Insurance referrals.
• Processing patient paperwork as required.
• Obtaining consent for medical care and financial agreements.
• Providing information about services.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one (1) year of general office experience in a healthcare setting, Ophthalmology preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and G‑Suite.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team environment.
