Medical Records Coordinator II – NEW Spokane, WA. Clinic!
Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented, customer-service-focused Medical Records Coordinator II to join our NEW Spokane, WA. Clinic!
Responsibilities- Pull medical records for other departments and/or individuals as requested
- Electronically file medical records
- Prepare copies of medical record as requested
- Scan medical records and ensure all requests for copies are authorized and approved for issuance
- Review the medical record for completeness
- Facilitate obtaining necessary signatures from physicians and practitioners to complete the medical record
- File correspondence and other documents in medical records accurately
- Assist in mailing correspondence from the business office
- Work closely with other departments to ensure the patient’s chart and information is complete to receive treatment
Projects a professional demeanor and appearance while maintaining the confidentiality of patients, coworkers, and the Northwest Specialty Hospital as appropriate. Requires excellent customer service and communication skills, and the ability to work under stress and situations demanding patience and tact while providing impeccable service.
Qualifications- Eligibility to work in the United States
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to relate and work effectively with others
- Willingness to participate in goal-setting and educational activities for own growth and advancement
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills in English
- Demonstrated computer skills in utilizing Microsoft Office, integrated database, and other functions
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology
- Two years clerical experience
