Our New Facility Sunshine on Raymond is now hiring for an Activities Coordinator. This is a Full-Time position, typically Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:00pm, with occasional weekend or evening on-call as needed. Active Washington NAC or HCA license is required.

- Arrange entertainment, guest speakers, and volunteers
- Coordinate outings, transportation, and safety planning
- Help decorate for holidays and special occasions
- Build positive relationships with residents and families
- Share activity schedules through calendars, newsletters, and boards
- Encourage family involvement in events
- Respond to feedback professionally
- Track activity participation and maintain records
- Ensure programs support dignity, independence, and choice
- Follow safety and community guidelines

Requirements
Required QualificationsEducation
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree or certification in Recreation, Therapeutic Recreation, Gerontology, Activities, Human Services, or a related field preferred.
Licensure/Certification
• CPR and First Aid certification required or obtained upon hire.
Experience
• Previous experience working with seniors, assisted living residents, or in activity programming preferred.
• Experience working with older adults, including residents with dementia and chronic health conditions, preferred.
Equivalent experience is not accepted in place of required education.
