Compensation: $66,399 – $106,947 base salary
Additional Compensation: Shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives may be available
The Two OpeningsPosition 1 — 2nd Floor Float RCP
A float position providing respiratory therapy coverage across the 2nd floor. Ideal for an RCP who enjoys variety in their daily caseload and thrives in a dynamic inpatient environment.
Position 2 — PICU RCP
A specialized position within the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, requiring experience or strong interest in neonatal and pediatric critical care respiratory management. High acuity, highly rewarding.
Requirements- Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirements
- Active Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire
- BLS certification — American Heart Association (required upon hire)
- Comprehensive understanding of contemporary Respiratory Therapy principles
- PICU position:
Pediatric/neonatal respiratory care experience preferred
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses in planning and implementing patient care plans
- Operate and maintain complex ventilatory support systems
- Perform monitoring and resuscitation procedures
- Conduct respiratory care procedures and patient assessments
- Perform diagnostic procedures and administer oxygen therapy
- Complete department orientation and unit-specific orientation as required
- Assist physicians with delivery and direction of Respiratory Therapy
