We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Arris Healthcare. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality respiratory care to patients in skilled nursing facilities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while addressing their specific respiratory needs.
Responsibilities- Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual respiratory needs.
- Manage ventilator settings and provide trach care for patients requiring advanced support.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on respiratory health and home care techniques.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on clinical evaluations.
- Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.
- Basic Life Saving (BLS) certification
- Strong skills in patient assessment and critical thinking.
- Knowledge of ventilator management and emergency medicine protocols.
- Ability to work effectively with geriatric populations is a plus.
Pay: $35.00 - $42.00 per hour
