Emergency Room Nurse in Spokane, Washington. This position involves providing acute care in a Level 3 Trauma Center with a busy ER environment. The role requires delivering high-quality patient care across a diverse patient population, including trauma, cardiac, stroke, and general medical cases, with a focus on teamwork and operational support during challenging workflows.

• Schedule:
  
  Nights shift, with a cycle of 12 hours per shift and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  
  Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, MOAB/CPI; 3-5 years of experience in a Level 3 or higher Emergency Room setting; proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system EPIC; skills in RSI, conscious sedations, lines/drains/tubes, general ER skills; ability to support on the unit with CNA/ER Tech assistance and phlebotomy skills.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Willingness to accept PALS or ENPC, TNCC or ATCN certifications.
• Support on the Unit: CNA/ER Techs available 2-4 depending on shift; resource nursing support, RT, Hospitalists, and physicians available 24/7.
• Technology/Equipment: EMR: EPIC; IV pumps:
  Alaris;
  Medication dispensing:
  Pyxis;
  Monitors: bedside and centralized.
• Orientation: 1 week of general orientation, followed by 24 weeks of unit-specific orientation; for preceptor roles, additional NEO training and unit shifts are required.
• Additional Notes:
  Utilizes 1:1 model for Critical Access Patients. No float required; unit culture emphasizes teamwork despite high-stress conditions; supportive environment for new graduates and travelers.
