Pay Range: $40.00 – $45.00 per hour (depending on experience)

In this role, you will work alongside Shawn and a top-tier group of physicians and clinical specialists in a state-of-the-art facility, administering precise radiation treatments and delivering exceptional, compassionate patient care.

• Treatment Delivery: Administer precise radiation therapy treatments under the direction of the Radiation Oncologist.
• Simulations & Setup: Perform simulation procedures, accurate patient setup, and target localization using modern imaging technology.
• Safety & Compliance: Maintain meticulous records of treatment dosages and clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA guidelines and radiation safety protocols.
• Patient Care: Build trusting, empathetic relationships with patients throughout their treatment plan.

• Education: Associate Degree in Radiation Therapy required (Bachelor’s Degree preferred).
• Certifications & Licensure:
  • Active ARRT (T) certification required.
  • Active Washington State license required.
  • Current BLS certification required.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Radiation Therapist preferred.

The Radiation Therapist Is an essential member of the Radiation Oncology team who primarily functions in a specialized area of radiation therapy technology in the role of direct patient care provider in the Radiation Oncology Center. The Radiation Therapist is responsible for the performance of all duties relating to the administration of a prescribed course of Radiation Therapy. The Radiation Therapist must be able to understand and carry out complex medical prescriptions and be able to work under pressure.

Furthermore, the Radiation Therapist must be able to communicate verbally in a clear and concise manner to personnel, patients, and physicians, and be task and detail oriented. Most importantly, the Radiation Therapist provides quality patient care in relation to the patient's prescribed diagnosis and treatment needs.
