Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse in Spokane, Washington. This role involves caring for cardiovascular patients with a focus on post-operative cardiac patients, arrhythmia management, and telemetry monitoring. The position offers a night shift schedule, with opportunities for block scheduling and flexibility based on departmental needs.

• Schedule:
  
  Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  
  Valid licensure certifications including BLS, ACLS, NIHSS; 2 years of experience working with cardiac or PCU patients, including strong telemetry skills; ability to care for cardiovascular patients, interpret rhythms, manage epidurals and chest tubes, and administer cardiac drips such as nitro, heparin, Amiodarone, Cardizem, dopamine, and dobutamine; location requirement: candidate must possess at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Experience with high-acuity cardiac care, ability to support behaviors consistent with a respectful and team-oriented demeanor.
• Float:
  Float rotation may be required, including coverage for Med/Surg and ICU overflow assignments.
• Additional Information:
  Orientation includes NEO2 training on 12-hour shifts. The unit values effective communication and teamwork. No on-call required; staff can opt to pick up extra shifts. Holiday coverage includes 2 of 3 holidays, with approval of RTO through the manager. Scrub colors are to be solid and professional, with parking available through Town Park and surrounding lots.
