Key Responsibilities of the Surgical Technologist
- Assist in preparing the operating room for surgical procedures
- Support the surgical team with instruments and supplies
- Maintain sterility during surgical procedures
- Help position patients for surgery
- Manage specimens and equipment post-surgery
Requirements of the Surgical Technologist
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist
- Current state licensure
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a surgical setting
